238 lbs
Yesterday was a great day! I went to Slim Genics in the morning for my daily weigh in. I have lost a total of 5 lbs. in 4 days! And I feel great. Yesterday I noticed that my hunger cues have returned. Before I started this program I would skip breakfast and not eat until lunch. Some days I would not eat lunch until 1 or later. Then I would have dinner late in the evening. For many reasons this was very unhealthy. Now with in an hour of waking up I am hungry. After breakfast I am hungry every three hours or so.
Yesterday was my first day on my plan. I was very excited to be able to eat fruits and COOKED veggies. As well as to try my snacks. OHHHHH YUMMY!!! The snacks are AWESOME! I have always been very leery of how things taste especially “diet foods”; but Slim Genics has somehow not taken the flavor out of the food. I had the double chocolate bar yesterday for snack and at first bite I felt that I was cheating on myself.
Last night Heath and I went over to our friends, Megan and Brady’s. We had dinner and spent the night. I made sure that I packed my food for breakfast and brought my own salt and seasonings as well as my food scale. Because I have been honest with them they were very accommodating. We stuck to my plan. Later in the evening the guys decided to pop pop-corn, but I had decided to save my orange until later in the evening so I was able to have a little snack myself when they were snacking. (I did allow myself 3 pieces of the pop-corn just so I didn’t feel left out, and it worked; so much for my new policy of “if it is not on paper it does not go into my mouth”)
Tonight we are going over to another friends house for dinner. This will be a little more tricky then just bringing over my own food or having them stick to my food plan, so I did a little modification on my lunch and snack for today. I am still going to stick to my food plan journal as closely as I can.
Tomorrow we have a birthday party. My plan is to eat lunch before we go there and to bring a Slim Genics bar with me so that I can have something sweet to eat while the kids are devouring the cake.
